Kia Ora Mini Farm is a fabulous open farm and an old favourite for a great family day out! On their day at Kia Ora Mini Farm, children can hold and feed a variety of live pet animals such as rabbits, poultry, sheep, pot bellied pigs (Bella and Babe), Charlie the Donkey, Jack and Jill the alpacas, Larry the llama, Posh and Becks the black swans, Eddie & Betty the emus, Geoffrey the Macaw, and friendly dogs amongst many others.

The indoor shed has a fantastic selection of birds and animals so no matter what the weather is like you can come and have fun and see all the cute little animals in the barn such as rabbits, hamsters, guinea pigs, mice and rats.

Farm Activities & Play Areas

Our original and still most popular attraction is the Mini Farm, with both indoor and outdoors areas to cater for all weathers, farm machinery and animals.

• Fire Engine Ride: Enjoy a sing-a-long ride in our Red Fire Engine and see the open farm. These are working fire engines, giving every child the chance to get up into the cab and sit in the driving seat of a genuine fire engine.
• The Maze: A purpose-built maze that is one of the largest in the South East, finished off with a popular flume.
• Tractors & Racing: A tractor area where younger children can trundle about and dig in the special digging pit, plus an enclosed racing track for slightly older kids to race rough riders and try milking the milking cow.
• Museum Exhibition: An interesting exhibition of farm memorabilia and an old threshing mill.

Cameras and picnics are always welcome at Kia Ora Open Farm.

Cosy Countrystyle Café

The farm features a cosy Countrystyle Café offering refreshments, sweets, drinks, sandwiches and cakes, with indoor and outdoor seating.

Kia Ora Mini Farm caters for birthday parties, school tours, and large groups:

• Birthday Parties: Specialising in children's parties, offering a fun-filled day for visitors from Dublin, Wicklow, Wexford, Carlow, and beyond.
• Easter: A great time of the year to visit the farm and see Spring come alive, featuring rabbit petting and Easter egg hunts around the farm.
• Christmas: Transforming into a Winter Wonderland each festive season with an animated light and sound display and visits to Santa.
